Halloween 2009

Here are the boys in their costumes. Jones didn't last more than a couple of houses with his costume fully constructed. He has his hands off after the first house, his legs off by the second house and by the third he was only wearing the top of LEGO Indiana Jones' body. Oh well, he loved his costume and it turned out great. Marshall and Lewis went as Brobee and DJ Lance Rock from the Nick Jr. show, "Yo Gabba Gabba." They were pretty funny. Marshall loves this show and he loved wearing his costume. He probably would've worn it every day we had it leading up to Halloween.

A Great Couple of Weeks

Fun things that we did these past few weeks: enjoyed a date night at the BYU football game with our friends, Brynn and Sean (We had a great time!), spent time with the Hammond family in Park City including Jon and Jessica who were visiting from Arizona, listened to and felt inspired by conference, celebrated my 28th birthday with my 4 favorite people (Scott, Jones, Marshall and Lewis for those of you who were wondering if one of the 4 was you...) which included: breakfast at the Morning Ray Cafe in Park City, cake, flowers, a visit to the lego display at the Kimball Arts Center, and dinner, shopping and a movie with Scott that night (thanks Jensens for babysitting), started working on Halloween costumes (my creative side finally won), had a "farewell" party for Jon and Jessica before they went back to Arizona, spent an afternoon at the farm at Thanksgiving point with the King family, enjoyed Lewis' blessing day with good food and family and spent Thursday morning getting family pictures (thanks Jen!!!).

Family Fishing Night

Marshall is obsessed with fishing. I have never seen a kid that young get so focused on fishing. He wants to hold the pole and he won't let anyone help him reel it in and he doesn't want help casting. Anyway, with a little help he ended up catching this little fish and he was soooo excited.

Here's the little fish Jones caught. He was so proud.
Marshall fishing all on his own. He loves to reel in the line.

He's here!!!!

After a long 9 months he is finally here and he weighed in at a whopping 9 pounds. I can't believe it. He is our big "bubba." Everything went really well. I was supposed to be induced today but went into labor on my own around 1:30 this morning. I got here right in time too. Any later and I would have been begging for an epidural. I don't ever want to wait that long for an epidural again! He was born at 7:15am and is 21.5" long. No wonder I felt like I had a monster inside of me. I did! We are still deciding on a name so we will keep you all posted on what we decide on. Oh, and there will be pictures to come. Just to warn you though, he is a little bruised in the face because the cord was wrapped around his neck. He will be purple in the face for a couple of days. Other than that we are all doing great!

Jonesy's 4th Birthday and His LEGO Party

Well, I have finally found some time to post the much anticipated pictures from Jones' birthday party. It was so much fun and I wouldn't have put so much effort into it if Jones hadn't been making requests about his party for the 6 months leading up to it. He loved it and everything turned out perfect!

Happy Birthday Jones!!!

Jones putting together his new bike. I am pretty sure that had I let him do it by himself he would have eventually figured out how to assemble the entire thing.

The party started off with some serious lego building. Everyone had a chance to show off their skills.

This was one of the only times Marshall was allowed to play legos. Look at how happy he is!
